Spruill Family

Last night I went out with the Spruills for some family pictures and graduation pictures of their son, Brian. They are such a fun family- they kept me laughing the whole time.

Shiner

No photo sessions today, so we took Ava out to Legacy Play Village to kick around. Poor little thing got her first black eye two days ago from dancing (and falling down) of all things! Here she is at Legacy with her shiner.

Publicity Photos

This very cold evening, I went out with the nicest person to shoot a few publicity photos for the ministry she just started. She didn't even look cold!

Erica and Ryan

My sister and her boyfriend are in town for Christmas, and she wanted to have their picture taken while they are here. After we ate all that we could eat, we headed out for some pictures. Here's one of my favorites.

Santa Came to Town

Look what Santa left under our tree- a new pink bike. Ava and her baby went for a ride.

Merry "Kissmas"

My little Ava and her lips....girl knows how to work it! She was wearing a Merry Kissmas outfit, and she had the lips to complete the look. What a mess! This was at our church Christmas Eve service last night.

Graduation

Yesterday afternoon, I had the pleasure of taking some pictures of the Jones family, and their daughter, Michelle, in her cap and gown. Michelle just graduated from Texas Women's University. I thought this was a neat picture.

Sibling Bash '08

Last night was our traditional "sibling bash". Every year, two nights before Christmas, we have a nice dinner at our house with our siblings and their guests. We have this joke of calling everything we do a bash because really our get togethers are so not "bashy". It may not have been a real bash, but I really enjoyed spending time with my brother, sister, and Ryan. Here's a picture of the table before dinner.

Christmas Cookies

I hosted play group at my house today. The kids were suppose to be decorating Christmas cookies, but they were mainly just dumping sprinkles on the floor and eating icing. I can't say I blame them- that's much more fun! We had a great time anyway.

Chicken Dinner

Tonight was my annual birthday chicken dinner at my grandparent's house. You just can't beat mashed potatoes and gravy, fried chicken, green beans, homemade rolls, and a fresh carrot cake (my personal fave).

Jordan Wheatley Custom Homes

Since this is my blog, and I can do whatever I want, I think I will take this opportunity to do some shameless advertising (oh, and you should get used to it) for my husband's building business, Jordan Wheatley Custom Homes. Jordan works hard at two jobs, and is in the process of making the switch to full time builder. His latest project is at 9207 Hope Street, and it will be so beautiful! I want to live there, but since he says I can't, I want it to sell to someone who will love it like I do. If you are looking for a new 4/3/2 in Lubbock, come give it a look! Here is a peak at the current progress....just finished frame, currently being roofed.

Change of Plans

This afternoon, my session was rescheduled because of a sick kiddo, so I decided to take my daughter out for some pictures. This is one of my favorites! After that, we stopped by my parent's house. Their dog, Jackson is such a mess- he just begged me for a picture. This is for you, Jackson!

My poor little Ava finally had enough of picture time, and bless her heart, it was FREEZING outside! I think the look on her face said it all.

New, New, New!

So here goes.....I'm usually not into this sort of this at all, but I think if you have a photography business, it's the best way to preview your latest work. I don't think I'll really get this going until the first of the year, but here's my start. Enjoy!
This is a picture from my session last night. She was an absolute doll!
